Privacy Policy

Mullio is a project tracker for residential designers and architects. It's made by Nobl Creative LLC, a Missouri limited liability company ("Nobl Creative," "we," "us"). This policy covers the website at mullio.io and the app at app.mullio.io.
The short version: we collect what we need to run Mullio, we use it to run Mullio, and we don't sell it, rent it or use it for advertising.
Who this is about
Three groups of people show up in Mullio:
- Visitors and the waitlist: people who visit mullio.io or join the waitlist.
- Studios: designers, architects and their staff who have a Mullio account.
- Clients: the homeowners and other people a studio works with. A studio adds them to Mullio, and clients may fill in forms or write messages from a private link the studio sends them.
For clients' information, the studio decides what goes into Mullio and what it's used for. We store and process it on the studio's behalf, to run the service for them. If you're a client with a question about your information, start with your designer. You can also write to us, and we'll help.
What we collect
From visitors and the waitlist
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist.
- Visit counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what kind of device and browser they use. It doesn't use cookies or build a profile of you.
From studios
- Your account: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), profile photo if you add one, and email preferences such as the morning email.
- Your studio: its name, logo, brand color, time zone, lanes, project types and forms.
- Your work: clients, projects, notes, targets, details, history, messages and the files you upload.
- Sign-in records: for each signed-in session, the IP address and browser it came from, so you can stay signed in and so we can spot misuse.
About clients
- What a studio enters: names, the people behind a client, phone numbers, email addresses, property addresses and notes.
- What clients send: form answers, files and photos, messages, and the first name they give when they first open their page.
- Activity on a client's page or form: when it was opened, when answers were saved and when a form was sent back. The studio sees this so it knows where things stand.
If you turn on notifications
If you allow notifications in your browser or on your phone, we store the address your browser's notification service gives us, so we can send you alerts about new messages and returned forms.
How we use it
- To run Mullio: show your work, keep client pages and forms working, store files, and work out what's on your list this week.
- To send email that's part of the service:
- to studios: account and security emails, the morning email, and a notice when a form comes back
- to clients, for the studio: links to their page and forms, new-message notices and thank-you notes
- To send studio owners occasional news about Mullio, and to tell the waitlist when spots open. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep Mullio secure: preventing abuse, investigating problems, and keeping records of sign-ins.
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To understand, in general terms, how Mullio is used so we can improve it.
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We don't use your studio's or your clients' information to train AI models.
Who helps us run Mullio
We use a few service providers. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job.
| Provider | What it does for Mullio |
|---|---|
| DigitalOcean | Runs the app's servers and database, and stores uploaded files privately |
| Hatchbox | Deploys and manages the app on those servers |
| Resend | Sends Mullio's email, and keeps the waitlist and product news lists |
| Netlify | Hosts the mullio.io website and runs the waitlist form |
| Cloudflare | Counts visits to mullio.io (no cookies) |
| Apple, Google and Mozilla | Deliver notifications to your device, if you turn them on |
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. If Mullio changes hands, this policy will still apply to information collected under it, or we'll tell you first.
Cookies
Mullio only uses cookies it needs to work. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
- Sign-in: keeps you signed in to the app.
- Who's on a client's page: remembers the first name a client gave, so two people sharing one link show up as themselves.
- Theme: remembers whether you picked light or dark.
Where it's kept, and for how long
Mullio's information is stored in the United States.
- A studio's information is kept for as long as the account is open.
- Form links expire after 30 days unless the studio reopens them.
- Files uploaded but never sent are deleted after a day.
- When a studio closes its account, we delete its information, including its clients' information, within 30 days. Copies in backups are removed as those backups expire.
- Waitlist addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
How we protect it
Everything travels over encrypted connections. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Uploaded files are private: each request is checked before Mullio hands out a link, and the link expires shortly after. Client pages and forms use long, random links that can't be guessed, and a studio can reset a client's link at any time. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe, and we'll tell affected studios promptly if something goes wrong.
Your choices
- See, fix or delete your information: studios can change most things in the app. To get a copy of your information or to close your account and delete it, email us.
- Clients: ask your designer, or email us. Every new-message notice has a link to stop those emails.
- Email: unsubscribe from news and waitlist emails with the link in any of them. Account and security emails come with having an account.
- Notifications: turn them off in your browser or phone settings at any time.
We'll answer requests within 30 days, and we won't treat you differently for making one.
Children
Mullio is a tool for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child's information is in Mullio, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters, such as a new use of your information, we'll tell studios by email before it takes effect.
